As a result of working for a number of organisations during our careers, there are a number of people that we have contact with who assist us in the delivery of our core services. This suits people who are seeking flexible work arrangements including part time mothers, people who travel overseas regularly and others who wish to work outside a standard 9 to 5 regime. In general, these people are CA qualified and have been trained by the Big 4 or medium tier accountancy firms.
Terasa Ropitini
Accountant
Due to the rapid increase in the amount of customers for Morris Accounting Terasa started working with Nathan in September 2008.
Initially from Rotorua NZ she moved to Queensland in 2006 for the “great weather” and the “employment opportunities.”
Terasa used to occupy the granny flat of Nathan’s house (now the office!) before moving into the house next door,
Terasa thoroughly enjoys working with Nathan and so close to home and not in a large city office constantly air-conditioned. She says “it’s nice to go to work and breathe fresh air but have the option of Air-conditioning when it gets a bit too warm, I’m lucky to have the best of both worlds.”
Terasa’s currently working as Nathan’s PA and trainee accountant. Her interests outside of work are painting, reading and using her new fitness machine.

In the future….: I would like to pursue a profession in translating and interpreting… Hopefully by the time I graduate, Morris Accounting would have expanded their horizons so I can be their personal translator/ interpreter… That way I won’t have to part ways with my fabulous job!

Karen Santa Cruz
Manager
Karen has worked with Nathan for the last four years. After having her 2nd child in 2008, Karen has been increasing her hours and was promoted to Manager in August 2009 when she was able to commit to coming back into the office full time. Karen loves her family and enjoys weekends with her husband at the local soccer club. Karen is able to help clients with all workflow and taxation queries.
Nathan Morris
Principal
Nathan has over 11 years experience in the accounting profession. He works with a large cross section of clients on advisory issues such as business management, tax minimisation strategies and business expansion planning for small, medium and large businesses. He also helps clients with business valuations, acquisitions and sales.
Nathan’s industry experience covers most small to medium businesses, including professionals, manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing, hospitality, and primary production.
Nathan’s specialty is the property, building and construction industry.
